A new series of talks from invited artists, makers and curators, both from Thames-Side Studios and elsewhere, to take place in the Education Space. The third talk will be by artist, writer and curator Cedar Lewisohn.

Cedar has worked on museum projects for institutions such as Tate Britain, Tate Modern and The British Council. In 2008 he curated the landmark Street Art exhibition at Tate Modern. He also wrote the accompanying book, in 2011 he was author of the book Abstract Graffiti. Lewisohn is interested in various forms of exhibition platform, as well as experimental forms of writing. He has recently been working at The Jan Van Eyck Academie, in Maastricht, where he spent a year researching the role of the artist as curator and exploring how these areas of work can better inform each other. During this time at the Jan Van Eyck Lewisohn also curated a number of exhibitions and events.

He is currently working on curatorial projects for Fondazione Hangar Bicocca, Milan. Lewisohn has had recent exhibitions at the bonnefantenmuseum in Maastricht and Joey Ramone Gallery, Rotterdam, and in 2015 he produced a solo presentation for the VOLUME Book Fair at ArtSpace Sydney.
