Richard Graham (Studio 0-007) of Make-It London recently 3D modelled and cast the iconic Keir Smith stone sculptures that sit outside Henrietta House on Welbeck Street, London W1.
The result of nearly two years work, this tribute to Keir Smith (1950-2007) is part of the building re-design for the new real estate occupants CBRE. Richard CAD-designed and 3D-printed the buildings using photos of Keir Smith's prototypes located in the Royal Institute of Architects, taking moulds from the 3D prints and casting the buildings in jesmonite. Richard used a new material for the wall tiles, embedding carbon dioxide pellets captured from the air and turned into concrete aggregate. This process using O.C.O Technology transforms CO2 into a green growth carbon negative product whilst also making reference to the CBRE's environmental and sustainable governance programme.
