Richard Proctor in The Pastel Society Annual Exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London

Richard Proctor (5-224) has a couple of works in the Pastel Society Annual Exhibition 2020 at the Mall Galleries from 5-16 February.

The Pastel Society says of itself and the exhibition that "The Pastel Society is recognised as foremost in its field, a magnet for brilliant exponents of the pastel medium showing the work of leading contemporary artists and visitors can be confident of seeing a variety of approaches."

Richard says of the exhibition "The exhibition will be strongly representational and figurative, focusing on highly technical works using pastels and charcoal, so I was surprised when they accepted two of my entries as they show neither of these attributes, but they are pastels."
