Thames-Side Studios-based Duart Bel Silva (5-228) is exhibiting new work at The Art Space, Westminster Reference Library.

“If one says ‘Red’ and there are 50 people listening,[...] there will be 50 reds in their minds. And one can be sure that all these reds will be very different.” - Josef Albers.

Red is emotionally intense, the colour of extremes, contradictory. Outward moving - signifying passion, love, desire, war and danger - it is also inward, the colour of life itself, inside our bodies, the colour of blood.

Westminster Reference Library is located off Leicester Square, on the corner of Orange Street, behind the National Gallery.
