As a driver of a train you work alone most of the time, although it require high responsibilities and concentration. Most of the days I am left to myself in front of the train.

This exhibition is a selection of images and small textile works of art that has been partially created in the driver’s cabin of a train. When the train is waiting for departure, is parked in the carriage hall or surprise, surprise is severely delayed and stationary, that is when I pick up my pencils, pens and paper, or crochet hook and knitting needles.

Slowly I make works of art that become a diary of my everyday life, the life inside a train driver’s head.
