Mick Armson, Faulting & Folding
Exhibition Dates: 3 November-19 December 2017
Private View: Sunday 5 November 2017, 12-5pm
Open viewings: Sundays 19 November and 3 December 2017
Thames-Side Studios-based Mick Armson's distinctive lino prints and etchings always evolve directly from drawings completed on location.
Until now, these drawings have resided in copious sketchbooks, having served a purpose in recording Mick's unique response to the landscape/cityscape and in providing the key direction for resulting printmaking. For Faulting & Folding at Thames-Side Studios Lounge, Mick will present the original works which led on to inform his printmaking alongside other drawn responses to a wide variety of locations.
Prints from his recent solo exhibition Discovering Roads & Bridges at Craft Central will be available to view by appointment in his adjacent studio.
