Screenprint - 4-Tuesday evening course

• Tuesdays 7, 14, 21 and 28 May 6.30-9pm

This course covers the same tuition as our 2-Saturday course but it is run over 4 Tuesday evenings and is suitable for both beginners and refreshers.

Designed to give you a good understanding of screenprinting, you'll receive written notes on the first evening, and all materials are provided for you.

Over the 4 evenings you will process screens – degreasing and coating - and learn how to operate the exposure unit and wash out areas. You'll also learn how to prepare your artwork (hand drawn acetates, paper stencils and photo-stencils), develop screens and get printing. Learn about registration, mixing inks, layering, and printing at speed.

By the final evening, you will be experienced and confident enough to join as an open access member of the studio so you can come back and work away at your practice along with other studio members.
